SPELLS AND MAGIC

The Czech national women's costume suggests garnet beads as an element of decoration and enhancement of attractiveness. Folklore myths attribute to the fiery red garnet qualities that kindle feelings of love and the creation of a happy family.

In magical practice, it is believed that the main property of pyrope is to strengthen the mental and physical body, increase sexual attractiveness, and enhance male potency. These magical powers are attributed to all magical pyrope stones, which have the old name "lal":

  • Rhodolite
  • Pyrope
  • Almandine

The stone is extremely useful for lawyers, teachers, trainers, and politicians.

It is also recommended to give it to children who are starting to study at school or at another educational institution. The mineral is often given to girls to strengthen relationships.

Pyrope absorbs the energy of its owner, so if its previous owner was angry or unhappy, these feelings may be transferred to the new host. In addition, it can have a negative effect on insecure and pessimistic people and cause nervous breakdowns, fits of anger, and insomnia.

For a girl to create a happy family, she must wear a ring with a Czech ruby on her left hand. A young gentleman can become a happy groom by regularly wearing a ring with a stone on his right hand. Jewelry is given to their loved ones to create individual magical protection against the effects of negative energies.

HEALTH EFFECTS

  • normalizes circulatory system functions
  • regulates blood pressure - it can be assumed that the morning sun rays reflected in the “bloody” pomegranate stimulate arterial blood circulation and the refracted electric light flux supports the body’s venous circulation
  • nourishes the cardiovascular system and the body’s respiratory system
  • strengthens the immune system and the patient’s overall condition
  • is given to pregnant women for regular wearing (three hours a day) to facilitate childbirth and also the birth of a healthy child - sorcerers and lithotherapists with confidential knowledge recommend that pregnant women wear a pomegranate amulet in the abdominal area

It is not recommended for a healthy person to constantly wear jewelry with the stone, because a stone with an active field can cause energy oversaturation and excessive excitability.

ZODIAC SIGNS

  • It is suitable for all zodiac signs associated with the fire element, i.e. Leo, Aries and Sagittarius. These signs can wear the stone for a long time without worrying about possible negative effects.
  • The stone is neutral toward representatives of Earth and Air. It has a mild positive effect on them, but it is not recommended to wear them for a long time. This is caused by the fact that over time the amulet begins to destroy its owner's aura. In addition, it is forbidden to wear the following zodiac signs: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces. These signs are characterized by a love of peace and stability. Therefore, their energy is incompatible with the magical aura of pyrope.

JEWELRY

  • Products made from this material have high value due to the depletion of natural resources.
  • Natural gemstones are mined in smaller quantities because some deposits are gradually being depleted, which increases the investment attractiveness of jewelry.

CARE

Long-term wear often leads to cracking and further discoloration. Although stone is not too demanding when it comes to care, a few rules should be followed:

  • Exposure to chemicals and cosmetics may be harmful to the surface of the mineral. Restoring the product’s original appearance will not be possible.
  • It is absolutely necessary to carry out regular dust cleaning. As a result of impurities, the surface of the material loses its smoothness, and cracks begin to appear. You can use a regular soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Long-term exposure to sunlight negatively affects the color of the stone. Therefore, it is not recommended to store jewelry in direct sunlight.
  • Pyrope can be washed with a mild soapy solution as needed. It is important to realize that the stone must be carefully wiped.
  • During storage, you should pay attention to the fact that jewelry made of this material may scratch other products. Therefore, it is recommended to store it separately or wrapped in a soft cloth.

COLOR AND VARIETY

The primary color is always red. The most popular are burgundy stones (relatively dark, with a slight hint of pink or purple). The most common are blood-red and rufous stones. There are also several other colors:

  • purple, brownish red, pink, brown, chestnut.

Dark minerals are often used in jewelry. These representatives are assumed to look particularly impressive and have the strongest effect. Dark brown, almost black samples are rare. Minerals with the alexandrite effect have a special value that changes color depending on the light.

CHAMELEON MINERAL

Pyrope crystals with an alexandrite effect (reverse) have exclusive value because they possess the rare property of creating an optical illusion. A ruby is a change in the color of a stone depending on the method of lighting:

  • daylight evokes a pale emerald stone hue
  • electric lighting changes the crystal’s color from green to pink
  • candle flame light “colors” the rare mineral a mysterious purple

The unique alexandrite effect of pyrope, a chameleon gemstone, is highly valued in the art of jewelry.

Faceted red garnets are covered with original products by experienced craftsmen, which have high commercial value and opportunistic popularity.

Pyrope contains a small amount of iron molecules - unlike almandine and rhodolite, which have a high percentage of metal.

SITE

This variety of garnet is of igneous or metamorphic origin. The mineral can be found all over the world, but only a small portion of specimens are suitable for cutting. The largest deposits are located in the following places: The highest-quality and most valuable specimens are mined in the Czech Republic and Sri Lanka. Stones from Brazil and India also stand out because they have a unique purple hue.

  • Czech Republic, Sri Lanka, India, Russia, Africa, USA, Brazil,

HISTORY AND TRADITION

Initially, this stone was considered a ruby. Most often, the mineral was simply defined as a “carbuncle” (a common name for all stones of that shade). The stone gained particular popularity in the Czech Republic, where large deposits were discovered.

  • The alchemist Gregory Agricola first named the stone in 1546. However, the stone was not fully recognized until somewhat later. That did not affect the popularity of the material. Legends and the magical properties of pyrope are also preserved.
  • The term “pyrope,” translated from Ancient Greek, means “similar to fire” and was associated with the patronage of the god of war, Mars. In modern international classifications, this rare mineral is called “Pyrope”.
  • In the Mongolian epic, pyropes are “enlarged” by frozen fragments of volcanic fire and frozen drops of dragon blood. Fire garnet jewelry crystals are excellent semi-finished products for cutting and making decorative inlays for jewelry.
  • In 1038, the great scientist Biruni, who lived in Khorezm, wrote a book on mineralogy that described the fiery pomegranate and the significance of this mineral for humans. In romantic paintings, the author compares pyrope to a candle flame, a pomegranate seed, a drop of wine, and praises its delightful color.
  • The silky luster of crystalline pyrope is misleading, because in ancient times this crystal was confused with ruby, noble spinel, and tourmaline - rare minerals of a similar shade.
  • For a long time, all transparent fossil red crystals were referred to by the general term “lal,” which corresponded to the name of the Pamir deposit, where the red nugget was first mined. It looks very festive. In Indian folklore, pyrope is poetically called the “pomegranate grape” for its deep purple color.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Red garnet has a rich fiery color, the “density” of which depends on the quality of the mountain impurities present in the mass of the crystal.

The red color of the natural stone is caused by chromium molecules, so the higher the percentage of this element, the darker the color of the nugget.

Properties description
Formula Mg3Al2 (SiO4) 3
Impurity Mn, Cr, Fe
Hardness 7.5
Density 3.65 - 3.84 g / cm
transparency Transparent, translucent.
Break Uneven.
Syngony Cubic (planaxial).
Color Red, blood red, orange-purple, pink.

Druses, mined in pomegranate mines, are mixed mineral aggregates; they have an almost black shade with inclusions of "accreted" diamonds and pomegranates. Fossil garnet gemstones in nature look like a handful of coals taken from a fireplace.
