Andesite is a widespread volcanic rock. Its main qualitative properties—strength, durability, and environmental friendliness—make it very popular. A wide range of applications: solid roads, building materials, beautiful architectural solutions are not complete without the use of this natural material.

Andesite is a unique igneous rock. It is a creation of nature, formed as a result of volcanic eruptions. An ecological, natural, and durable material that is widely used in various industries and fields of activity.

The study of this rock began long before our time. The first to take a deep interest in these natural resources was the German geologist Christian Leopold von Buch, who lived in the XNUMXth century. century. Bukh collected stones from all over the world and studied them. Andesite was found in the South American mountains called the Andes. This is where the name comes from.

The andesite boulders of Ica are of constant interest to scientists. They were found near Peru. A peculiarity of the stones is the presence of images of the inhabitants of the Andes and the types of their activities. Only now do the images fail to correspond to actual historical reality
